I first saw you on the bird rescue video, then when I decided to cut my hip length hair at 69 I found your tutorials.I have been cutting my own hair into a chin length layered bob and have had so much fun doing it for the past 3 years. I stopped coloring my hair when I was 50, and am now all silver/white. Thank you for the inspiration 💙

I am 77 years old and have been cutting my own hair off and on since I was a teenager. The last time I went to a beauty shop I was 21 y/o. I also have been cutting my husbands hair since then as well.

My husband cuts his own hair and does a wonderful job. I will show him your videos and see if we can do this cut on my hair. I enjoy my hair stylist, but I'd appreciate saving the $65 I spend for a cut. What company makes your glasses frame? I need new glasses and these may work well for me.

Hi, you have beautiful hair. I love the color which i"m guessing is natural. i watched you cut the layers. This is just my opinion but that just shows how a few little cuts can really change the look.; because i thought you looked better before You cut. I thought your face looked prettier. Just thought you would want other opinions. :)

I have a question for anyone. I recently got my hair cut, like we see here. I like the cut BUT, looking in the mirror at the back of my hair, the hair splits and I end up with divided line. Think it must be from sleeping on the back, so the hair splits to sides. I really dislike this, like a cowlick. Any ideas how to change this would be appreciated. Thanks.

I’m with everyone else…tired of paying an exorbitant amount to get my hair cut. Now if you could just show me how to color my hair, and tell me the best colorant to use; that would really help. Great job, and yes, your hair looks good pinned back the way you had it.

Your cuting it at the wrong angle , you need to cut it at the angle uv pulled it out at , not bending it and pulling it forwards , just saying

great haircut and it looks youthful and good on you. thanks again for the tips. this is a perfect cut for me right now because i have a bob i cut myself and just want a little lighter look. i over cut my hair, too many layers, in december and am growing it out. you know how that goes. the tip about cutting a hole in front was a great tip cuz i usually do that. great sectioning the hair tips. btw, your haircuts always look professionally done.

great haircut, and youthful. thanks so much for sharing your techniques they really help and make it user friendly. layering is always tricky and this really helps. my twin sister has me cutting her hair. grooming makes a person feel better.

I think you did a great job. I trim on my hair also but haven't given myself a full haircut. I do have fairly short hair so I am afraid to tackle it. After watching you I may try it.

You can also gather up all of just the top of the hair and bring it up and cut about an inch or inch and a half off That is how I layer my bob

I am old school and have always had a perm in my hair, about three per year. Now I cannot find anyone who wants to do them for a reasonable price that is any good at it. So now I trim my own hair and it looks much better. Maybe give up perms? Haven’t decided that yet.
